Daniel Goeken ChFC®, CFP®, BFA™
Dan specializes in the financial planning needs of pre-retirees and retired individuals. His career as a financial advisor began in 1987, spending 17 years with American Express Financial Advisors, Inc. before joining Securities America, Inc. in 2004. He established Insight Financial Planning in 2011.
Dan holds the Series 7 and 63 registrations along with the Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®), Certified Financial Planner® (CFP®), and Behavioral Financial AdvisorTM (BFATM) professional designations.
He grew up on a farm near Hartington, Nebraska and is a Wayne State College graduate.
Tyler Hefner BFA™
Tyler joined Insight in December of 2013 and joined the ownership group in 2018. He is passionate about helping others achieve their goals by understanding and guiding clients through their emotions in regards to financial planning and investing. He currently holds the Behavioral Financial Advisor™ (BFA™) designation, Life and Health as well as the Series 7 and 66 registrations.
Tyler enjoys spending his spare time with his two boys and wife, Ashley. Otherwise, you can find him either on the golf course or at the YMCA exercising.
Jeb Nordby CFP®, BFA™
Jeb joined the Insight Financial team as an advisor in 2017 and joined the ownership group in 2020. He holds registrations of Series 7, 63 and 66 while also being certified as a Behavioral Financial Advisor (BFA™) and a CERTFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™. Jeb’s goal is to help individuals and families make sound financial decisions when planning for their future retirement. He has extensive experience in the areas of retirement planning, tax planning, and protection planning and gives regular group presentations over these topics.
Outside of the office, Jeb and his wife Alyssa have two daughters and a son. He has served the community as the business representative for the Steering Committee of the Norfolk Family Coalition that focuses on finding innovative solutions to improve communities in and around Norfolk and as a member of the Norfolk Kiwanis Emerging Leaders.
Cash Campbell
Cash is originally from Ashland, Nebraska and joined Insight Financial Planning as a Financial Advisor in December 2023. He will actively work to help others achieve their goals by understanding and guiding clients through their investment decisions using a hands on approach to retirement planning. He currently holds the SIE, Series 7 and 66 registrations.
In his free time, Cash enjoys hunting, fishing, grilling and watching his favorite sports teams with his wife, Elise.
Sandy Goeken
Sandy began assisting Dan with his practice in 1992. With her knowledge about the practice and the financial industry in general, she is responsible for many aspects of the office – client service, advisor support, compliance, human resources, technology, etc. She holds the Series 7 registration.
A Wayne State College graduate, she grew up in northeast Nebraska.
Jarecsy Medina
Jarecsy is the primary assistant for Dan. Jarecsy began working for the office in November of 2017, as an office assistant to all advisors in the office. She then took some time off to be a stay-at-home mom in 2019. In April 2020 she returned to Insight Financial Planning to assist clients with their service needs—ranging from scheduling appointments, preparing paperwork to creating new accounts, processing requests and paperwork.
Jarecsy has an Associate of Arts degree in Administrative Professional from Northeast Community College.
She was raised in Nebraska most of her life, and currently resides in Norfolk with her husband, Yobany, son, and daughter. They enjoy going to car events around the area
Danielle Jorgensen
Danielle is the primary assistant for Tyler and Jeb. She joined Insight Financial Planning in May 2023, providing pre- and post-appointment assistance to her advisors along with helping their clients with servicing needs and requests.
Danielle holds an Applied Science degree in Administration for Northeast Community College.
